Travel and curl - go to a bonspiel!

A bonspiel is a curling tournament. Some are very competitive, some are incredibly laid back. Most are held over a weekend. Some are mini-spiels done in a single day. Some are longer. All are a great time.

The first Long Island Curling Club bonspiel was the 2019 Firecracker Bonspiel, where we welcomed 32 teams from coast to coast, plus Canada.

A bonspiel gives you the opportunity to play multiple games. It's a great way to gain experience, meet curlers from all over, and travel somewhere new!

Bonspiels also show support for the host club, and help build camaraderie in the curling community. You'll enjoy curling, broomstacking, and other activities at the host club. You may meet new friends, and possibly find teammates for future bonspiels!
